Especially when a situation like this one could easily garner attention from the jump. ![]() It’s an unfortunate thread that is so interwoven in the fabric of society, that the idea of a world where racism doesn’t exist sounds like nothing more than a pipe dream. Being Black in America means being tied to the painful truths and repercussions of a system built on the back of racist actions and ideologies. Any Black person in America has felt the sting of having a racial slur thrown at them at least once in their life.
